“Megah Rewards” Contest (the “Contest”)

 

Contest Period: 18 December 2023 - 18 February 2024, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (the “Contest Period”)
 

Terms & Conditions

1. This Contest is open to all Malaysian residents who have attained the age of eighteen (18) years old & above. Employees of PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd, its subsidiaries and / or its affiliates and their immediate families, advertising agents and suppliers are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
    
2. Tenants and promoters working in the outlets at Megah Rise Mall are not eligible to participate in the Contest and are not permitted to participate in the Contest on behalf of customers.
    
3. Contest Entry Mechanics:

• Spend a minimum of RM300.00 in a maximum of two combined receipts (the “Receipt(s)”) issued by the participating outlets (excluding promotional space booths and bazaars) in Megah Rise Mall. Duplicate and/or photocopies of the receipt(s) are strictly prohibited and will result in automatic disqualification. For the avoidance of doubt, a single or two combined receipts with an amount above RM300.00 entitle(s) a participant to only one (1) entry.
   
• Submit the Receipt(s) to the organizer’s representatives at the Concierge Counter, Ground Floor and receive a Contest entry form (the “Entry Form”) upon verification.
   
• Complete all mandatory fields in the Entry Form and submit the Entry Form together with the original Receipt(s) on the same date of the Receipt(s) to receive an entry card (the “Entry Card”). All personal information submitted via the Entry Form must be true, latest and accurate.
   
• Be physically present at the Prize Presentation Ceremony on 25 February 2024, 3 p.m at Megah Rise Mall. Register your attendance by presenting the Entry Card at the Concierge Counter, Ground Floor, from 10.30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Be prepared to answer a question correctly to stand a chance to win the Prize(s) during the Grand Draw of the Prize Presentation Ceremony. 
   

1. All Receipt(s) must be original machine generated receipts with the name of the participating outlet clearly reflected and submitted together with the duly completed Entry Form.
    
2. All other receipts, such as credit card transaction receipts, handwritten receipts, goods return receipts, duplicate or re-printed receipt(s) and deposit receipts will not be accepted. Receipt(s) for transactions from money changers, bill payment and credit top-up are not valid for participation in the abovementioned Contest and will not be accepted. Receipt(s) which have been submitted to participate in any particular event or activity cannot be re-used for another event or activity which may be simultaneously taking place at Megah Rise Mall, except if stated otherwise.
    
3. Receipt(s) which are issued after 10 p.m. are eligible for submission before 10 p.m of the next day after the issuance date of such receipt(s) but limited only to receipt(s) issued by the participating outlets with operation hours beyond 10 p.m.
    
4. Eligible participants are allowed to submit multiple entries during the Contest Period.
    
5. Eligible participants will automatically be enrolled in the on-going redemption programme.
    
6. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any receipt(s) that are incomplete, illegible or not original or which do not satisfactorily show proof of purchase.
    
7. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Entry Form which is incomplete, illegible or attached with Receipt(s) which are not original, or which does not sufficiently show proof of purchase.
    
8. There is a total of eighteen (18) prizes (the “Prize(s)”) for the winners which comprise of:

• One (1) BYD Atto 3 (Standard Range, 2023) (the “Grand Prize”);
• One (1) Vespa Primavera (Green Relax Met) (the “Second Prize”);
• One (1) Longines Master Collection (40mm);
• One (1) iPhone 15 Pro; and
• Fourteen (14) other special prizes.
   

1. Eighteen (18) winners (the “Winner(s)”) will be announced during the Prize Presentation Ceremony on 25 February 2024, from 3pm at Ground Floor, Main Atrium, witnessed by external auditors.
    
2. The Winner(s) must personally attend the Prize Presentation Ceremony to collect their prizes. Participants of the Contest must bring along the Entry Card for the Grand Draw during the Prize Presentation Ceremony on 25 February 2024, before 3 p.m. at the Ground Floor, Main Atrium.
    
3. Failure of the Winner(s) to attend the Prize Presentation Ceremony and collect the Prize(s) after a count of three by the emcee during the announcement of the Winner(s) will result in immediate disqualification.
    
4. In the event of disqualification due to Clause 14 above or the Winner(s) are unable to answer the question correctly during the Grand Draw of the Prize Presentation Ceremony, another draw for the same prize will be conducted subsequently.
    
5. Each Winner is entitled to one (1) Prize(s) only and all Prize(s) are neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash, credit, goods, and services.
    
6. The organizer reserves the right to arbitrate the selection of the Winner(s).
    
7. The organizer reserves the right to substitute any Prize(s) with that of similar value without prior notice.
    
8. The Grand Prize Winner(s)shall directly deal with BYD dealer, Millenium Autobeyond Sdn Bhd (“MASB”); while Second Prize Winner shall directly deal with Vespa dealer, Welly World Cycle Sdn Bhd (“WWCSB), on the delivery arrangement. The Grand Prize & Second Prize Winner(s) shall be responsible for all other fees and costs related to the vehicle, i.e. vehicle registration fee, transportation costs, insurance costs, etc. The Grand Prize & Second Prize Winner(s) shall arrange for the registration of the Grand Prize & Second Prize on his/her name with MASB and WWCSB respectively within 14 days from the Prize Presentation Ceremony (ie: 10 March 2024).
    
9. Any additional costs, duties, taxes and/or other incidental expenses which may be incurred by any of the Winner(s) of the Contest as a result of and/or related to the Winner(s)’ acceptance of the Prize(s) shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner(s).
    
10. Picture(s) of the Prize(s) shown in any advertisement and/or other promotional materials relating to the Contest is/are solely for illustration purposes only and may differ from actual Prize(s).
     
11. The organizer shall not be responsible for any damage, loss, death or injury arising from the usage of the Prize(s) or in connection with the Contest in any manner whatsoever. No claims of any kind shall be made against the organizer.
     
12. The organizer makes no warranties, express or implied, in fact or in law, relating to the use or enjoyment of any of the Prize(s), including, without limitation to, their quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
     
13. Please note the specified expiration date on vouchers and products. No extensions will be granted. Winners are responsible for timely use, and PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd is not liable for any inconvenience caused by expired vouchers or warranties.
     
14. The organizer reserves the right to publish, use the names, personal details, photographs and/or video recordings of the participants and Winner(s) including all materials submitted during the Contest for the purposes of advertising and/or promotion and/or trade publicity for the Contest, without any prior notice to the participants and Winner(s), who by submitting their entries to the Contest, hereby consent to such use by the organizer. The participants and Winner(s) shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of compensation on the materials submitted to enter the Contest. By submitting an entry to the Contest, each participant hereby consents to continue receiving promotional materials and information from PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd.
     
15. The organizer reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate this Contest at any time without prior notice.
     
16. The organizer reserves the right at its sole discretion to amend the terms and conditions mentioned above or in connection with the Contest at any time without prior notice.
     
17. The organizer’s decision is final and no further requests, claims or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained.
     
18. Upon submitting the Receipt(s) together with the duly completed Entry Form, the participant is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of the Contest and the participant acknowledges that he/she has read and understood PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd's Privacy Policy and Personal Data Notice which can be found on Megah Rise Mall Website (https://megahrisemall.com.my/privacy-policy-and-personal-data-notice) and consents to the usage, collecting, recording and processing of his/her personal data for the purposes stated in such notice and in connection herein.
